Years ago (late 90’s) I filmed STRANGELAND in Colorado. I was the Police Chief. Dee Snider was the madman kidnapper/sadist, Linda Cardellini (Freaks and Geeks, Mad Men) was my detectives kidnapped daughter and Kevin Gage (Heat) was my detective.
Loved Linda and have followed her career with admiration! She was kind enough to volunteer to run with me in the high altitude of Colorado Springs as I trained to survive shooting a scene I’d suggested to the director. Kevin and I would jog, bare-chested, sweating in the picturesque Red Rocks as I persuaded him NOT to go all medieval on Dee (Snider). The scene was never shot, Colorado got SERIOUSLY COLD AS FUCK suddenly!
I blame it all on John Papsidera! (John, just kidding…and I

Anyway, a good rallying cry for this event and I learned today that Dee’s grandfather was Ukrainian.
